John RosI create durational site-responsive installations by fully engaging with a space and its surroundings through a process of assembly and disassembly — allowing masses to accumulate by rearranging materials and shifting their locations and positions.
Unseen and forgotten elements are full of potential. I search to uncover truth. The search is initiated in the places where tension is activated. My explorations include the possible and impossible while delving into the idiosyncratic elements that make a place truly unique. Recycled, humble pieces lay in reference to the Western-global culture of over-consumption. |
